Great start!!! Your D9P will be charming in all these mixed fabrics. Will love to see it finished.

I just bought a 1/4 seam foot. Totally worth getting one. I also bought the walking foot and a darner. All for my Kenmore. It was a total of 25.00. I can not believe the difference. it is so much easier to sew quilts.

just using vintage and/or thrift store fabrics, so it's very scrappy. these are the two main blocks. i've got a couple more that i may work in that will be somewhat different because i don't have the same amount of every fabric.

these are my first two completed blocks. ever!

You are off to a great start, just keep going. I had some of the fabric in upper right hand corner, with the love birds. I still have some with different color backgrounds.
I'm in the process of making a very different quilt.
