I think it would be a great Idea! I live up in the Northwest Coast area, it would be fun.

There is Camp Watcha Patcher held for 1 week in Costa Mesa, CA. They have a web site. I think it is in July.

There is a wonderful place called Inspirations in Big Bear. You just call and plan when you want your retreat to be.

I think Calico House in Yorba Linda, CA has one. They have a web site.

Also, I think the Orange Quilt Bee in Orange or Buena Park has one and they also have a web site.

There is a site called Quilters Escape. They have a web site too.

I can't check the web addresses right now, but like someone slse said, try searching quilt retreats calif.

Some advertise in national quilting magazines like Quilters newsletter.

Good luck

Thanks for the input, reversed the search and there were more, and some very interesting ones.

Dear Central Cal,
Any interest in a small quilters weekend retreat at a church camp? We're in the planning stages -- it will be a Fri.p.m. to Sun. brunch near Yucaipa.

Hi girls -- I might be interested too, since I'm Central CA also. Would have to be in Spring, though. Too many commitments before then. Maybe I can get my guild to put one together, and I can invite everyone here!! Bakersfield is 2 hours from nearly everywhere, nearly!! :-)

I wouldn't mind helping if you decide to, wouldn't know how, have planned several lg. events but nothing like this. :)
Spring would be best here also.
