Hello and welcome... Iowa transplant to Va here... I used to go to Ottumwa every year for the tulip festival. My daughter was in the band and we went.

Welcome. I am from Ottumwa, also. Yes Radar was from Ottumwa. Fictious, but the opening in the book that MASH was based on had Radar Graduating from Ottumwa High School. One of our claims to fame!

I learned to quilt from a wonderful quilter in Ottumwa, many, many years ago.
