I love this quilt. I can tell it is made with some sort of Borgello or Irish chain with the 3 different colors but could you tell me the basic directions? I would love to make this for my great neice for her to take to college this year.

Awesome. I love the colors. I have always liked bright colored quilts.

That is so beautiful! I bet it was fun to make. So cheerful!

I am getting ready to start a patriotic quilt for Quilts of Valor. It will be donated to a wounded soldier returning from Iraq.

I got my aunt started making quilts 2 years ago, and now that's all she does with her free time - make quilts to be donated to the soldiers. Her husband is a retired Army Lt. Colonel, and her son is a new Army officer, just back from Iraq. Luckily no wounds.

Mine will be a tribute to my father, who was in Viet Nam twice and got a purple heart for his injuries to both legs. He retired from the Marines as a Sgt. Major. And for my husband, a former Navy Chief.

Has anyone else heard of Quilts of Valor? It is a great organization!

I love this quilt.... so lovely and bright.... would you mind telling me what the size of your blocks were please? Hope you don't mind....... also the size of the quilt.... would love to make it.
