This is so funny!!!!!!! I am making the exact same quilt but I am using red floral flannel for the center.
It is a very heavy quilt!!!!!

Beautiful! I've been saving denim for years with this exact pattern in mind. I'm a bit worried about the weight if I make a queen size--was this an issue?

Too funny!!! Mine is only a baby quilt size and is heavy. I thought about manking it bigger but when I discovered how heavy it was I stopped.

They went pretty well--you start to one side and then stitch using a zig-zag stitch around the curves left side to right side. Then turn and go back up the other side. If I missed a stitch at the center, I just went back and stitched over it.
