I have been fiends with BF forever. Used to hang out with him when we were younger, just as friends. Later we both were going thru a divorce, and he fixed my car for me, LOL, he was always my mechanic!

I was all of 15 and my dh was all of 14 when we met. The first time I met him, he came over with his parents to my parents house. He looked at me with the "doe in the headlight look" and swore right then and there we would be together! LOL

It took a few years, but we did finally get together and knew it was right. Hard to explain, but he fell head over heels in love with me on that day and never stopped chasing me, even when I moved to another state.

Yep, I am a happy camper!

Met at work (nursing home). I thought he was 'good looking!' and he thought that I wasn't 'ashamed' to show my age! (I had a very big streak of grey then, now it's almost all grey/silver) 3 months later we 'hooked up' and have been together 22 years next month, married 16 in May..... His mom told him I was a 'keeper' and I guess I am!

My husband and I met at a church group. I was 19 and he was 26.

I told my single friend to go wander the isles of home improvement stores. LOL

1) I have been "hit on" several times in the grocery store, bank, Target, and WalMart over the years...never taken any of the askers up on it though, LOL

2) I met my DH online actually but it was inadvertently through mutual friends and we were all in a Yahoo group (pre-Facebook days)
