No fair!!! Here I am stuck in Panama City, sitting on a balcony about 50 feet from the ocean, watching the sun set with a glass of wine in my hand ... no sewing machine here. But I did find a fantastic quilt shop yesterday. My quilt pal will just have to wait a bit longer ...

Such sacrifices Nancy in Louisiana! I feel for you and wish I was there! Cheers!

There's plenty of time to wow us. Grab a glass of wine or a cup of tea and have some fun. Don't forget a snack! We're all about the fun here.

friday evening...did the cold front move in gracefully in Panama City? we are in WINTer Haven, and it is chilly....... no crowds in the pool!

gives me more time to sew......have fun, and sip wine, keep warm...and relax.

Oh no, please don't get me wrong - I wasn't talking to anyone sitting on a balcony, overlooking the ocean, sipping wine. Nope - not me, that's one quilter with her priorities straight already!

Oh...we really do feel very sorry for you...such a shame that you have to endure such an ordeal...please let me trade with you so you can get back to your sewing...I really won't mind doing a fellow quilter a favor...really, I can always get my sewing caught up when I get back... :)

I have got my dolls quilt ready to quilt. I was going to add a sneak peak pic but not sure how to attach in this forum...or do I have to create a new topic somehow ??? Okay I figured it out - no wonder I can't follow a quilt pattern

Actually the weather here in Panama City is not all that great-- it was 47 this am. My DH is doing the Ironman Race. (2 1/2 mile swim in open water, 112 mile bike, 26 mile run) So it was in the water this am (with wetsuit) at 7. It's sunny now but still not hot which is good for the racers. Personally, I think they are all nuts (as I raise my glass of wine to them).
