thats much easier to learn than how to lay down that first piece of fabric for paper piecing.

    Welcome sunwest!

Nor - Awesome!! Your quilt is beautiful!

I actually made my very first block. I started yesterday and planned to finish it and another one today but I've been feeling punky and only finished the one. I keep hoping my background fabric will show up so I don't have to remake too many of them. Until it does, the blocks I make will all be practice blocks. Still, it's done and I'm posting it to prove I did it. ;)
i love it too. i like this color combination.

Sorry.... we've had racing the last two nights and it's chaotic when it's a two day meeting. Hubby pit crews for a mate who races a stockcar. I started playing with your file then realised how late it was and had to go. :-)

All I did was copy the table into MS Paint and then save it as a jpg file. I've had a little play this morning and it keeps chopping off that first column, not sure why! It's one of those frustrating things that's probably really simple. I'll have another play later and see if I can fix it. It's just the one triangle it's chopping off, but it's still annoying.

A note for odd sashings, I'm adding the right and bottom sashing to every block as I go, so I don't have to do a pile of piecing at the end. Week 2 includes H1 and I've just realised that all the blocks from column 1 can have the left side sashing added as well.

Sorry, I can't remember who decided to add their sashing as they went, but this is for you. :-)
