Thanks for your lovely comments. The strips are 1.5" mostly, with the odd 2" here and there as the blocks were rather odd sizes so had to do a bit of botching to get them to fit together, but that's what makes it a fun project, no pre-planning, just grab a kitty and start adding strips until it 'fits' with the next one, that's it!

That is the kind of quilt that I love to enhance with beads, yarn, thread, anything with a sparkle. Love to enhance. Husband says - can't you leave anything alone? Me says, nope.
Beautiful quilt. I'm sure she will absolutely love it!!
