I have two Janomes, a 760 (Platinum) and a 660 (Jem Gold). I also have an old (1980) Kenmore that is SO heavy, it's in it's own cabinet. I love it because it was a birthday gift from my DH. Between the three of them I do everything I could ever need to do at this point in my quiltmaking life.

You make me jealous, especially because of the Singer treadle. That is what I learned to sew on. I was very unhappy when my mother had a motor put on it.

I currently have a Singer Merritt and a Singer Scholastic. The Scholastic is the newer machine, but I prefer the Merritt.

Hey, purplefiend, I'm looking for a great older Pfaff, what can you tell me about your 1222 and others. What German-made models with IDT should I be looking for?
