I'm a "little late" starting. I somehow missed this thread. I have the book and I love stars, so I am going to try to make as many as I can. Better late than never! LOL

Happy Sunday! Very pretty Ohio. Here is my #35 Ohio! Wow, only 15 to go is pretty amazing. Thank you for leading us on this wonderful journey, Florence!

Nicky, your block is wonderful as usual. Mine looks like I was asleep when I took the picture. Needs a good pressing. LOL.

I made this a year ago, it was one of my first paper pieced blocks. I didn't know what to do with it because the color red/white/black wasn't something I wanted to make into a quilt. But I loved the block so much and did a really good job on it, so I just framed it and it hangs in the sewing room. Still need to catch up on about two blocks, but my floors aren't in yet, and there is no way I can get to all my sewing stuff. Going crazy here.

Patrice, Katie, both your blocks are beautiful. I have made this block several times for swaps so I don't know why mine looks so crappy this time. Katie, good idea with the framing and I know what you mean about going crazy. I told my doctor that quilting was much cheaper than a shrink. LOL.

here is my last weeks - North Dakota and this week's Ohio...i love the Ohio block- i have made that one many times over the years- it is my favorite star- one of these days i think i will make a whole quilt of that one. I have 4 other Ohio stars done in Fairy Frost blues to become part of my latest Lone star quilt.
anyhow- as always - everyone's is FABULOUS! especially since that star is so great- no matter what fabric you use for it.
