I know what you are talking about. I am afraid to start going through all of mine. It might scare me with what I would find.

When we get home from the winter I need to organize my stash and my sewing room. That should keep me busy for a bit!!

I haven't bought any in about a month and I am feeling withdrawal symptoms. I have way too much now and I am almost 65. I doubt if I will live long enough to use what I have now but when the Lord takes me I have a granddaughter and 2 daughter in laws that will enjoy it.

Maybe there is hope for me. If I put all my fabrics together, in totes, I might have four. I am going to loose my 'a regular here'' for a while, and get some projects done. I wish you all straight corners, hidden stitches, even quilting, and being OK when they aren't.

I just started to go through my stash and was amazed at how much I have. Yikes!

Michael, I think it is OK to have a lot BUT you should be making up some of it, I stashed a lot away when I was going to retire because I was not going to have a lot of money for fabrics later, so now I am using it up since I am no longer working , I retired 15 years ago and am still using up some of the stuff I bought way back when  :XD:

You are organized now that is the first step.

Finish one at a time. I started this about three years ago and no matter how much I want to start something new I finish what I have started. It is working great.

Gee, I understand what everyone say here! I am going thru my closet and organizing my fabric. It is amazing, you can actually see what you got when you need it! You can also see what you don't have! Yea I could go wild! I can see it now "Quilters gone Wild".
