[quote=roseOfsharon]Janetlmt, what a beautiful butterfly you made

The butterfly quilt is one that I received from my swap partner "Sewnsewer" aka Dawn. Didn't she do a fabulous job. My mother was admiring it..I think I will make one of them for her if I locate that pattern. The colors pop out at you..so bright and cheery! Love it!

Janet, do a google and you will find it. It is called butterfly in the round by cheryl phillips. I got my pattern at a garage sale.

If anyone is interested I just found a fantastic collection of little quilts on a blog site. I was blog surfing and came across this site. The rules say the little quilts have to be the size of a sheet of copy paper.

I loved them all but some of them just jump out at me!

I thought it might be a source of inspiration for someone.

If you look to the right on the blog there is a list of other years and you can click on there and see more little quilts.

Jeepers, Rhonda, I'd be calling those mug rugs! Some of them are really inspiring though.

Thanks, Rhonda! They are really out of my box quilts! These are the about the largest AAQI quilts would be. The maximum size for AAQI is 9 x 12, think. I have 1 done for AAQI, the second I'm HQ, but it's just an itty bitty!

Chele I have one that is 9 1/2" x 9 1/2". Would it be allowed for the AAQI?
Rhonda, they might not accept 9 1/2". Nine inches is the maximum. They use those Priority Flat Rate Envelopes to mail them. But any size 9" x 12" (or under) is accepted.

Thanks for the link for those little swap quilts. It's always fun to get inspiration!
