In my youth I've been a cashier, worked in an exercise place, dental assistant & as an office manager. At 23 I married my husband & quit working as the office manager to help run our carpet cleaning/dyeing business out of our home...and be a stay at home mom at the same time. Doing the office, kids & house at the same time was a lot of work, but I loved every minute of it. Fast forward to a little over 31 years later and the kids are out in their own homes, but I still answer the phone & do the office stuff. Now days you find me running from my sewing room to the office to answer the phone...ha.

I have a little home job making plastic patient cards for orthopedic surgeries for patients to use in screening at airports. I love it because I can work on it at 2 a.m. in my "jammies" if I can't sleep. Doesn't make tons but keeps me in money to support my quilting addiction!
