Thank you, you are too kind. There were no set in seams, I paper pieced it. I hate set in seams a lot they are actually the only thing about quilting that makes me unhappy. I love the Tumbling blocks pattern but I don't have enough seam rippers to attempt it!!! Maybe that should be the next quilt I ask my Mom to make for me. Lucky for my Mom my other sisters don't know enough about quilting to request the hardest quilts. She made me a double wedding band quilt last year.

You did a wonderful job on that carpenter's wheel block. It's one of the more difficult blocks to accomplish ... set-in seams, bias edges, tricky to match. You've got a GREAT handle on it! I'd be proud to have that as the center of a quilt .... send me one any time!

I have a suggestion. when sending out the squishes and blocks add your forum name along with your name and addy. sometimes it would help.

My fabric is cut wrapped and ready to go. All I need is where to send them. I am so ready and can't wait to get all the beautiful fabric from everyone else.

I just purchased some fabric. Its going in the washer as soon as my work clothes are done.

Since this is my first boomerang I have 2 questions :
1.) Should I send the same fabric to everyone?
2.) How should I cut the fabric? 9x22 or 18x11?

Okay, April, I don't know if I'm the one you are waiting on for a confirmation, but I'm definitely IN! Got some new fabric last night. And I want everyone to know I definitely got out of my comfort zone on it. I'm pretty traditional(hey, my grandma taught me to quilt, what can I say), but this time I got a black with some brights! Hot pink, yellow, turquoise, lime...why, I never in my life...
What have you guys done to me?

Hey Jennifer! My first too :)

My understanding is:

1) Your choice - 35 of the same -or- 2/3/...35 different.
2) 18x11 is recommended
