    Make sure the needle eye and little piece that catches the thread are lined up. I had to get my service guy to show me and it's a breeze.

    I always use mine. On my Bernina there is a tiny, very thin hook that goes in the hole of the needle to catch the thread and pull it through. It easily gets bent and doesn't go into the hole of the needle like it should. I have to adjust mine every so often. Have to get the magnifying glass to do it.

    loved it on my sapphire but it doesn't work anymore. i need to get to the machine doctor and find out why it won't line up to thread the needle. i miss that thing.
