I have two dogs. The Great Dane is Heidi, we call her Heidi Ho. The rottie/mix is Gustav Augustus, Gus for short. They are both rescues. When we (my grandkids) were choosing a name for Gussie, it was between Gustav and Augustus. No one could agree so we gave him a middle name. One granson calls him Gus Gus. I also have fish. The big one is a Tiger Oscar named Howard Huge. He is about 12 inches long and has quite a personality.

Cats:
Baby Girl (aka Pixie)
Buddy
Wee-est (meaning smallest, but he's grown up to be the biggest!)
Tikki ("kitty" backwards, sort of)
Zebra Finches:
Freckles (male)
Frostie (white female)
Tater Tot (offwhite female)
Cherry (regularly-colored female)
Shelly (offwhite female)
Shelly's youngsters: two boys and one girl (no names yet)
Three nestlings
We also had 4 other males, but we gave them to some friends over the weekend. Their names are Nintendo, Speck, Pete, and Woody.
Three gerbils - one named Stubby because he's got a short tail, and two that don't have names
We've got a 120-gallon aquarium of fancy guppies, but there's no way to name them all. There are HUNDREDS.
Past pets: Jack (Yorkie), Dusty (shih tzu), Taffy (Yorkie), Zorra (shih tzu), Wendy (zebra finch), multiple gerbils (most weren't named), an oscar (big fish) named Mr. Happy, Winston (cat), two unnamed parakeets, Puppy (shepard/collie mix), Buttons (cat), Muffin (cat), Catty (cat) ...
Needless to say, I love my critters.

4 Cats:
Nimitz,
Olivia
Matthias
Socrates
Oddly enough, I liked the name Nimitz from a book- he was in real life a Navy Admiral, and there is a Nimitz sized aircraft carrier. This cat lived up to his name- he's 24 pounds. When we named him, he was tiny, not even weened from a mom who was killed- she was a warehouse cat and was run over by a forklift.
