First Attempt at Hand Quilting
#231
Wonderful! And thank you so much for mentioning online classes from Quilt University. I'm going to check them out. I want to learn, but I've had a hard time fitting an in-person class into my schedule.

Great job....I have tried to hand quilt also and I just don't know how they rock the needle and still manage to get the stitches all the way thru the quilt and complete the stitches. I know I tried to rock the needle but couldn't get the needle to catch all the layers. I know your pain on that one....I know it's practice and more practice.

This is very well done for a first attempt. I am also a 'stab stitcher', but I am fine with that. I am finishing up all the other projects and getting ready to start your quilt. I have been witching your posts and really think you will enjoy your quilt colors. (At least I hope so.) -Kelly

I think that it looks great. I also hand quilt. I just finished a queen sized log cabin for my son that I gave him for Christmas, all hand quilted. I don't think mine looks as good as yours. Good work.
