I am upset about the person I sent my pincushion too, I mailed it late week and she got and I know she got because I put a tracker on and she hasn't posted anything about it,I hope she likes it, if not I will make another one for her, I wrote to the hostess and she said she would post something well I haven't seen it, I know life gets in the way sometimes but she can answer the hostess email and not post on here or send me email I think that is rude.I hope I am not stepping on anyone toes for me posting this but I have saw on other swaps some ladies feel the same way like I do of not posting to let us now if they recieved our packages or not. I also seen that she has mailed out her swaps and her parterns has posted they got thier packages from her. So it makes me wonder if i did something wrong???
I do hope I do not cause any hurt feelings on my posting. If I did I am very sorry.

I think everyone who recieves anything from a swap should have the courtesy to let the person who sent it, that you have received the item and even if you do not like it be thankful that
the person who sent the item took the time to make something for them. I really appreciate a quick thank you note when ever I send out something and I am pretty sure most others do to.

I am sure that your partner may have gotten side tracked and you will be hearing from her soon. Your package may have been delivered but it does not mean that who you sent it to actually received it. Maybe it got misplaced and a family member or someone else did not let your partner know she had gotten a package.
I have sometimes thought I had sent a message out on the internet and it has not been transmitted correctly probably because I hit a wrong key or my server did not send the message or the person I sent the message to had a glitch in their computer.
I have sometimes started to send pms and gotten sidetracked and never transmitted the message, in my mind thinking I sent it, forget to check to see if it had been transmitted until I get a wake up call and go back to see what I did. Guess I have lots more senior moments than I did in the past. LOL.
In fact I thought I had put a reminder on this tread to remind everyone to thank the person who sent them a pin cushion and hopefully post a picture on the picture thread. I remember starting to compose the message, we had unexpected company (some of my greatgrands and their parents) and so I left the computer with the half finished message and three hours later just closed down the computer that had gone to the screen saver and covered over the unfinished message and BINGO the message was deleted with the computer closing down. I forgot all about the unfinished message until this wake up message from you. Thank you for the wake up message.

This is just a thought, but maybe your pincushion partner's computer is down & she can't post a picture or PM you. Last week I was without my computer for five days & I thought I was going to die, before I could get back on again!! :D I am so addicted to this wonderful Quilting Board!!

She may have sent you a Thank you via snail mail. Not everyone posts pictures of their swaps. Hopefully you will get a response soon.
