I already sent Carol a message about removing her personal info.
But here is what she asked about:
In a round robin project, a group of quilters (6 in these groups) EACH makes a center square according to her own interests. This center is mailed to the next person in line on a preset mailing date.
On that date, every center will move from the originator to another person in the group.
On round 1, we each design and sew a 3" border around the center that was mailed to us. We usually post pictures so we all know what wonderful creations are developing. The project is then mailed again in the same mailing order on a preset date.
Then we all work on round 2 (5" border), round 3 (6" border), round 4 (7" border) and round 5 (8" border).
When everyone has added the 8" border, each top is mailed back to the person who started the center.
By using the same mailing order everyone has worked on every single top and everyone has had a chance to do one of the border sizes.
I hope that explains the process. If you are interested, check for the notices as the group projects get posted.
THere is also a ROW ROBIn going on where we all sew rows and mail them on.

I need to repress and square up Kathy's center--hope to do that tomorrow night. Need pix too.
I had to go back through all the photos to see the next center coming my way and I have to say.....WOW!!! these centers have really turned out beautifully. Ligia's should be next and I'm thinking...RED!!
How is everyone else coming along??
