Would someone remind me what colors moonrise would like to go with her beautiful prints. Changed my mind on one of the fabrics and want to double check that I don't add a background that isn't correct. Thanks terriamn

I may be the first one to do this.....

I completely finished a block and posted it the more I look at it the more I really dislike it, for way too many reasons to list. So I am currently finding new fabrics and pattern for my f8 once it's done I'll post it.

    Has anyone else done that?

    Default Block For Billi

Wow! I just go away for a few hours and come back to a landslide of beautiful blocks! Really nice work! Here is my block for Billi - I worked so long and hard at adding other colors to this block, however it begged me to stay red and white! This is Jacob's Ladder with a little color variation. I have actually fallen in love with this block! I have been thinking about a Red and White quilt....this might be the beginning of something! Hope you like it Billi.....'cause I so much love the one you made for me.

Default SeaSew - Thank you for the Wonderful Block

Sea Saw! The block you made for me is beautiful I love Christmas....and this quilt will be very special to me for many reasons! My daughter and grandchildren will be coming from Japan to stay with me for 2 months this Christmas. I don't get to see them very often and my Jake and Lilia are getting so big now. We will all curl up under this quilt and share great stories and books! I don't want to wish away the wonderful summertime....but each time a block is posted here.......well....Christmas is a little bit closer it seems! Thank you for all the thought you put into this block ! It is wonderful!

I didn't get any blocks finished yesterday, after all. I found a pattern that I really liked, made a test block with my own fabric, and then decided I didn't like the block after all. I'll try again this morning after I get some breakfast and caffeine!

Bee I love it thank you. As my blocks are posted I'm seeing my quilt come together I can't wait. I love that Janice has two separate pages for us to look at too see the beautiful work everyone is doing I can go to my blocks and mentally plan my quilt.

Im glad you like the block I made for you, the gold thread satin stitch really brings out the gold flecks in the green fabric. I really love the discription of what having your Christmas quilt means to you and I pictured you snuggling with the ones you love and dearly miss and a roaring fire in the fire place. It made me smile.
