Mary, he is the cutest thing. I never thought about coyotes. Isn't he big for a coyote to chase after?
Rose, keeping my fingers crossed for you with the heat.
Pat, it was 64 today 35 tonight. big diff.
Rosemary, I'll take those M&M's off your hands for you. thinking of making M&M cookies. yummo
Mary, big sis, when did she stop nursing (is that what they call it) on mom, cos now she has baby #2 1nd #1 is still a baby. Don't know much about farm animals, but do know a lot about kitties.
Maybe I'll get my PC tomorrow, Keep forgetting, I didn't getone yet.

Lynnie the white calf is his 1/2 sister. Different mama. He's about the size of a 1/2 grown german shepard dog. Maybe 70 lbs right now. He will fill out and stretch his legs and body out a bit more over the next couple days. He's been curled up in mama and now he needs to stretch out some. A cyote can take him down right now even if they are a bit smaller right now as they usually run in packs. The white calf is weaned from her mama. (usually done 6-7 months old)have a good night.I'm waiting for my pc and nb too. It's still real early in the month though. My partner should have received her p.c. today.

Love that photo of the calf & his mama! I've always adored cows. When we were living in Ireland we rented a house on a farm. The farmer had 4 bullocks & one little red bull, all of whom would stand on the other side of the half stone wall looking into my huge (picture-window size) window in the kitchen. I absolutely adored them. And I named every one. Big mistake. I heard the little guy screaming out in the field when he became a bullock. Eventually they disappeared (went to market I guess). And the farmer eventually replaced them with more, but I didn't have the heart to name them.

What a great pic of the little baby. Big sis almost looks as big as his mama. Last year around this time at one of the farm in the National Park (where they rent the land), they had these pure white turkeys. I'd see them everyday on the ride until one day they were gone. Now you know what that means. Now another farm has lots more turkeys and I just know one day I won't be seeing them either. Maybe I'll have chicken for Thanksgiving. I'm waiting for my other pc but not in a hurry as I'm only finally mailing mine out today. For next month I'm starting early. You just never know what will happen. As a matter of fact I'm going out early because it's already snowing near the Lake and I don't know how far it's going to come south.
Everyone have a great day

I'm still waiting on both of mine, maybe today but our Post Office doesn't open until 1:00. Packages are the last thing to get sorted so I always wait and drive down about 3:30 p.m.. Will let you all know if anything arrives.
