Thank you.. This is Skipper, the blue version of the Daffodil, Brown Sugar and Walnut pumpkin fabrics. Yes, it is one of the ones picked up this weekend. There were a total of 3 new Halloween batiks in this batch. Along with a few that I cleaned out the stores of, including my sage. Having seen my blocks, the store owner that had the sage will be watching for more of it plus anything similar.

Next trip to the US I will pick up more batiks - 4 owls and 3 skulls. I'm not positive they will make it into the quilt but, probably. Then I order my Timeless Treasures Spooky fabrics. Between now and then I need to figure out how much I want of each of the fabrics. They've only been out a couple of weeks and are already selling out!

No, I'm not having any fun at all with this quilt.

I noticed the blue fabric right away in the group shot--I'm a sucker for blue--and thought "hmm, new fabric?" Pumpkin in the center square has become a "trademark" of your blocks.

oksewglad - thank you. It's fun to know people are watching the fabrics closely enough to know the new ones. I haven't made blocks with all of the original 11 yet (still have 7 to go in sage plus one colour blocks) but couldn't resist the blue. And pumpkins just lend themselves so well to a fussy cut centre, don't they?

    Yes, QuiltE. It is torture.

Thanks dublb - this is the final colour in that particular pumpkin fabric. I haven't used the walnut by itself with the sage yet. I need a block that shows that it really is different than the Brown Sugar.
