I'm going! DH said last night we could go for one day, because of his work schedule. We will be there on Wednesday!

I am so very excited. I've never been to anything like this at all. Yippee!

For those experienced, are there plenty of places to sit down, or should I just take my wheelchair? I can't stand on my feet for longer than 30 minutes, or walk for more than 1/4 mile.

OK, I have a question. I'm off on spring break in April, but before the quilt show, but we're going to Paducah anyway. I've been trying to find out if there are any paddleboat trips/dinner cruises in the area. Does anyone know?

Really looking forward to Hancocks and the museum without the crowds. LOL

I don't know about cruses and paddle boats on the river but you may try the lakes. The Museum is great. Hancocks is expensive.

I go every year with our local bus trip. We stay overnight and see "everything". Been going for over 15 years. One year I took a friend and we went ourselves and this year I am going with two other friends and staying the week. Yaahoo.

I love the friendliness of the whole city, the free bus system, the church meals, all of it.

DH was looking on line for hotels and they are all booked solid!

We will spend the one night at his sister's place which is about 2 hours away.

We are making it a short/fast trip but hope to spend Fri and Sat at the show/area.
We found a place to stay Friday night!
Time to start saving money for fabric and other 'stuff'! My list is already in the making!
