Amen! This is just the best board ever!!! I so enjoy looking at all the comments, questions, answers and pictures just about every day. I feel like I have found such a unique and wonderful group of people who are always here to help and encourage. Long live the board!

I love it here. I think my DH is happy that I found this and joined. He laughs at the jokes and when I say I need to find out something to help with my quilting he always says " Ask them a question." He knows that I will probably find the answer here. I have to stay away from others so much because of my MCS and COPD that I feel like I have found friends here. :) I appreciate you all so much. :)

The other thing I feel compelled to mention (being a "big picture" type of person) is how fortunate I feel, sitting here at my computer, looking over at my sewing machine... in my comfy little sewing room... coffee in hand... not too many cares... when so many are suffering so terribly in other parts of the world. I can't do much, but I CAN pray, donate, and try to maintain a healthy perspective on life's little difficulties.

I hope my quilting board friends have a special day and always... Happy Quilting!!

You couldn't have said it better! I love this board and have learned so much about the vintage machines and treadles from the wonderful people here. We pray for all the people every time one of these horrific disasters happens. We are truly blessed.
I doubt if you will find a better place to be. Thank the good Lord for people like you.

This quote should be in our mission statement for the board.

Respect for the craft and art of quilting informs all of our posts and it shows in the respect, courtesy and caring that we all give to each other as we learn and grow as quilters.
