    You will learn a little at a time. And no matter how good you get, you will always think someone else's is better. We know the flaws of our own and we look at other people's as a whole only seeing the overall gorgeous quilt. But I eye goes directly to what we perceive as a mistake on our own.

    Most people who don't quilt and receive one don't know the difference between a badly made quilt and a national award winning quilt. So don't ever worry about giving one away. Some of my worst quilts are treasured and sadly preserved by the owners.
