It is beautiful! How did you add the borders? I have a section large as a twin bed, but want to add border. Do I just sew the border fabric with 1/4" seam.
Says you quilted it. Does that mean you quilted the borders? My quilt is quilted as I go so the back is has as many hand stitches as the front.
What a treasure your customer will have to remember herr great grandmother.

I love the scalloped binding. Just a marvelous treasure of a quilt!!!

That's really a delicate darling. It sure is pretty. And it will be loved and cherished for many more years.
Good color catch for the edging, it looks like it was carefully made from a pattern. And the quilting, well, can't say enough about that. Marvelous job there.
Can you tell I love Cathedral Windows?

Thanks my azalias are just beautiful now. My weeping cherries are done blooming, my pink magnolia is about done, my red bud is blooming and so are my dogwoods. The bradford pear is done early around here. I love the way spring comes in stages!!!!
Good thing I don't live near you! I'd be catching my running nose and rubbing my itchy eyes all day long. And that is with a list of allergy meds longer than my arms!

I do love the quilt; adding borders like that was truly genius.
