To make a long story short, Ditter (Sharon) jerked awake screaming "NO, get away!" The bear was chewing on her foot and her foot was mere inches from my feet. Oh yeah, I jerked awake too and my heart rate peaked at about 400 beats per second!

I sat up in bed and, even with the night light on in the bathroom, I didn't see the bear. Of course we all know bears are sneaky and fast too so it coulda' got away real quick.

I rolled over and wrapped my arms around her while our hearts slowed down then she got up and went to the bathroom, I suppose to dress the puncture wounds in her foot. There were no puncture wounds in her foot so I gotta assume there was no bear or it was a real old one with no teeth.

When she came back to bed, I laughed some and I am gonna end this tale right here.
Ken I was wondering, do you have teeth?

Glad Old Ken was available as rescuer. I'd like for him to find out what's stressing our Ditter so to have dreams like this in the first place. Bear bed dreams are always stress dreams; I bearly lived through a few my ex had years ago...spent many a night jumping out of the bed and plastering myself against trhe wall while I kicked the bed trying to wake him safely.

Take care of yourself, Ditter; we love you!
