You are a wonderful person to take in the friend, dog and puppies. Hope they all find good homes. Hope the recovery goes well for everyone.

How fortunate that they survived. And how fortunate for your neighbor that she has YOU.

my "grandpuppy" is full grown, now--she is a lovely mutt my daughter got from a shelter. she is rottwieller, husky, and daschund. there's another one to figure out...

but she's 60 lbs of short hair, rottie markings, husky webbed feet, long legs, broad chest and love, love, love. she is well behaved, sweet natured, playful but not overly so, and puts up with whatever the kids in the family dish out to her.

i love mutts. they are the best in the world. and thank you for taking in these sweet pups and their person! bad times bring out the best in folks, and it sounds like you are among the best, indeed!

They are adorable. Boy are you going to have your hands full for awhile. Worth it though.
