    Welcome! I have even mixed textures in my baby quilts, so I guess anything goes as long as you like it!

    I mix it all. I like them better that way. There are quilts I mix Civil War, Hawaiian, batik, 1930, contemporary. whatever I like. I am sure there are people who do not care for it but if you like it it is all that matters.

    This quilt has a batik border and baskets made with different fabrics including hawaiian and reproduction.
