In my house we had DH who could put his feet up after work and read the paper or watch TV with a cat in his lap. We had our kids, our kids' friends and 2 big cats and from 1 to 3 Dobermans at a time, all sprawled around eating bushels of pop corn and masses of sodas while watching TV or making plans for when they grew up.
Other mothers told of how nice THEIR homes were, and wondered sometimes why their kids never wanted to stay home. They were always at my house, helping with crafts and gardening and making this and that, and helping eat the things they made.
I always knew where my kids were...they were underfoot all the time, but none went to jail. (Except as jail and prison Correctional Officers)
I'm sure none of them ever bragged on or even noticed how clean the house was..but do mention now and then how much fun they had doing this or that with both us parents.

Someday: we will have a house of our own,
    Have a new vehicle,
Not have to worry about finances and the bills will always be paid on time.
When my kids have kids of their own they will realize what a good Mom I was and wonder why I didn't kill them as teenagers. LOL!!

The only way I ended up keeping bills on time was we moved into my mom's back yard(used to be my dad's auto shop) and everything is in mom's name so I give her the money and I know the bills are paid on time! I was always behind before. Now many years later I am pretty good at a budget. I never could do that before!

    Someday I hope for...........
Not having to make a choice between cat food, toilet paper OR fabric (financial relief).
All of my stash will coordinate.
    I will write a book.
People will realize I am smarter than I look.
A home of my own that has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, sewing room, and plenty of storage.
    A car.
