I think it'll be great. I did a "rainbow" log cabin with all types of brights. It's my all time favorite quilt.

I think the colors will be fine. That's the beauty of log cabins...almost anything works as long as you have the contrast, either by color or dark/light. Please post pics of your finished quilt.

That looks like it will be nice and cheery. It will be wonderful to work on that on a cloudy day, like a slice of sunshine at your machine.
