Meow, and thanks! :) Don't know why I'm timid about sharing pics, there doesn't seem to be any good reason for it....

Love your kitty blocks and all the pics you shared. That Irish chain quilt is sooo pretty. I loved you comment about- my first "successful" quilt...LOL...too cute, I didn't see your other first quilts, but you are right about that one

If you were to see my true "first", you'd see why I called the Jacob's Ladder my first true success. *LOL* It was just a four-block Rail Fence wallhanging, but oh my god, I made all my mistakes on it. :P It's currently in New Hampshire, though, so I'll have to get it the next time I visit my parents, and take a photo to share of my "real" first :P

I've been thinking about doing another miniature goddess quilt. So many ideas, so little time in a day!

Thanks! I didn't even quilt until 2002. I was more into hand embroidery at that point, and the company I was working for at the time downsized me. Well, there was enough from that to buy a sewing machine that I'd had my eye on. Another shocker, mind you, because prior to that point, the mere sight of a sewing machine would send me running for the hills! The catch here was that it was embroidery-capable--and that made all the difference. Later that year, I went to work for the same company that made the sewing machine (Husqvarna Viking) as a sales girl. I was the only one of us who didn't quilt. Do you think I'd let that fly? No way! The rest, as they say, is history! :)
