My large crockpot came with a cover. It has a velcro closure and cutouts for the handles of the crockpot to fit thru. The top has a zipper around it. It just seems to be two ovals with a straight piece incorporated between that is open down one side with velcro to close it.

Sounds like a good idea though .... you'd want to make sure it was a very well made/sturdy tote, as a crock with contents is very heavy!
I bought one off the internet (don't remember where) but I use it for my big crock - it's black on the outside, silver lined which is washable and strong handles. I couldn't carry my crocks to church like I do without my bag. I think I paid under $15 .
