YAY! Welcome aboard Janet. Trust me, if *I* can do it so can you. There are plenty of patterns that are good beginner ones if you want to or you can challenge yourself. I usually unstitch mine someplace during the block but hang in there to finish it.

My flying geese one turned out the best and I never thought I'd say that! :)

Yeah for Peevypat and JanetWall...this is fun. I must tell you all since this is Rohnda's blocks, we had our local quilt show this weekend. And I did a demo on the Boston Block. It went over so well that I also had to give a couple private lessons, and they want me to demo it at our quilt club so everyone can be sure they have seen it. So a BIG THUMBS UP Rhonda. I also put a picture of the star and wing block on the flyer, and listed all your web sites. One girl said she never makes anything that has triangles in it because her points don't match. Someone else demo's how to do half squares and half square triangles. This seemed so much easier to them. Which it is, and I told them, that really this is the only way I do it. If I had to do it the other way, I'd make a big mess. So all in all.....the quilt show was wonderful and a lot more people know about the Boston Block...... :):):):):)

Great news on the success of your demo. I have to admit that I too didn't think I could do some of these until I started to do Rhonda's. :) I even attempted one of the wing blocks. Will finished sewing that one of these days but got pulled off to work on other projects.

Well done.
