yeah, I remember the red pants were called elephant pants because of the bigger than bell bottom legs; that was in 1969. A few years ago bought a pair of pants and asked me if I like the new style; I told her yes, and that I liked them when I wore them at her age too. She just looked at me; I told her the one thing about clothing trends; most of them come back around again. The good old days.

ALL my pants were elephant bells. I was a sight....with my peasant blouses, long straight hair, head bands, beads, no watch (what is time, man?), etc. We got married in the chapel in early 1969 and my wedding dress (that I made) was a mini....the priest's mouth fell open, but I looked tuff! (did I really use to talk like that?)

Hahahaha.... I slashed open a couple pairs of jeans and stuck in giant patches of fabric to make elephant bells. I wore them a LOT, and got compliments on them all the time.

I was 20. That was just ten years ago.

Fashion is one big circle. ;)
