I just found this fabric this morning

    http://www.keepsakequilting.com/productdetail/3870B.htm

it would look so cool as a border... but so would bandana fabric.

Love the quilt. How about the light green (chequered I think?) border with a thinner solid red/green and finish off with another light green border and then your choice of binding?

How about a yellow or green border with red stripe binding?

I'd do red for the border and yellow for the binding.

Hey, thanks for so many great ideas! I decided on bright yellow border (like the house), with red (like the barn) for the binding. I loved the idea of the bandana fabric too, and happened to have a couple yards of blue in my stash! So that is the backing. I have it sandwiched together and hope to work on it tomorrow. Will be sure to post a picture when it's a little more together. I just knew you gals would help me figure it out so I wouldn't have too many sleepless in Gainesville nights. Thanks : )
