Where on earth did you find this unusual quilt? Did you find it at a sale?
I had a little boy friend when I was 4 or 5, he was perhaps 6 or 7. We use to go out hunting for snakes. I loved them! Luckily we never came across any poisonous ones, but we use to carry them around and let them wrap around our arms like bracelets. Most of the snakes we found were garter snakes, other harmless ones, and some sort of water snake. I was never bitten, just fascinated.
I stopped playing with snakes only when I learned there was a bounty on rattle snakes found in the hills around our town in CT. Guess I was lucky never to find one of those!

I just took a look at the quilt again, I love it! It is so unusual and so clever, it really makes me smile!!!

I'm so curious how that quilt was made, and who it was made for. I suppose there is no label on that quilt!?!

My nephew would love this quilt forever! I'd enjoy making it just for the uniqueness of it.

One snake on a quilt or anything, is one too many for me!Although top marks for creativity!

That is too cool! looks like a drunkards path with a twist. maybe a double drunkards path. I'm not wild about snakes either but this would be so much fun to make.
