You go girl! It is so nice to read about someone else who is not afraid to tackle something like this. I used to have carpet in the kitchen, tore it up, put down new sub-flooring and then tiled it. Then added an island, my friend almost had a heart attack when I told her that I had drilled a hole in the floor to bring up the electric. We can do things like this! If I don't know how to do something there is always the net. You did such a great job!
