I was wondering if a row of flying geese would look out of place with this quilt around the border of the little flowers? I found a video for one seam flying geese and am dying to make use of it .

Personally, I was thinking of putting flying geese instead of saw tooth for an edge but didn't have the patience. That flying geese tutorial rocks that Ricky Tims did. We still need another border around the outer side of the Baltimore so I will keep that in mind. My suggestion Capucine, is make a few of them, and line them up. If you like them, use it. I love the traditional blocks we are making but I also love adding something that say's "holly's quilt" to it too.

Thank you for your advise I think i will have to put all the blocks on the floor to see what it will look like and take it from there but I will take your advise and make a row of flying geese I have some Batik left to do borders with, just a matter of working out the size for each border

Wow! It's beautiful. Really love the fabric you chose.
