just remember that the handle will be hard at first. it will "break in" and get easier, so don't get aggravated

Yep, I bought one this weekend too. Can't believe I broke down and did it ! Still in box waiting for me to finish the Christmas stockings I'm working on.

You will really enjoy it! Just remember about the handle being stiff at first but it will loosen up as you use it.

New dies keep coming out. If it isn't already here I think it would be soon.

I've had the "Go" for a couple years and really like it. I have found you can get a router mat at the hardware store and put under it and then it stays in place better. That is the only thing I didn't like as it would move as your turned the crank. Also, you can use cheap typing paper on top of the fabric if the fabric wants to move. I have most of the dies except for baby things and use the strip dies the most. I love the feather, heart and circle dies for applique.

I have had mine for almost a year now and I have accumulated many of the dies........they really do save time in cutting and if you plan correctly you lose very little fabric.....worth the time and effort it saves and the accuracy cannot be beat. There are several yahoo groups for die cutters-one of which also is a dealer with VERY GOOD discount....check it out....and have fun!!!!!

For 1 1/2" squares, cut strips first, then turn them sideways and run them thru again. Works great! I love mine - and have had it a year. The only dies I have so far are strips - 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2". I felt that those would be the ones I would use the most - makes short work for Log Cabin quilts!
