    I like these books-

    http://www.amazon.com/Schnibbles-Tim.../dp/1564779866

Schnibbles Times Two: Quilts from 5" or 10" Squares (That Patchwork Place)

    and

    http://www.amazon.com/Another-Bite-S...d_bxgy_b_img_b

Another Bite of Schnibbles: 24 Quilts from 5" or 10" Squares (That Patchwork Place)

I would sort the squares by theme or color before starting a project.

I have all these charm packs that I fell in love with and bought and never know what to do with them. There are some great ideas here. Thanks.

A couple of years ago, I took all my scraps that were big enough and cut 5" squares from them. I had about 4000 squares in a wide variety of colors and patterns. I put them in clear plastic shoe boxes according to color. Since then i have made several quilts from them. I used solids and prints of a similar color to make 9-patches and tied them all together with sashing. I also made one just of all different colors and patterns just being sure not to get two alike together. It turned out very pretty. I also used some of these squares to make 2 I Spy quilts. I did one of 4patch blocks. There are a lot of ways to use these blocks. Two squares together will give you 2 sets of half square triangles.
    Have fun.
