ccbear's flowers are hibiscus (top 2) and amaryllis (3d). the hybiscus can survive in a pot indoors with enough natural light and water. the amaryllis is a bulb. if you can grow tulips and iris, it should survive in your area, too.

Well I personally can't grow anything  , but I get your drift and thanks very much for the ID Patrice :P Have got some ideas on how to create that first hibiscus of Cassandras' thought I might do a 3D pin tuck kinda thing to represent the deep veining in the petals. Will keep you posted if I come up with anything concrete :D

Wow, thankyou so much Annmarie, those are awesome :D , haven't downloaded them yet but those will be real great for a climber in one of the blocks I'm going to do. Was going to use convulveulus (sp?) Is a weed here, very hard to eradicate but has wonderful flowers that look very simmilar to the morning glory.

Have had a play with your nastursum pics and printed out a montage ready for drawing, so am getting there. Thank you so much for all your help :P

    Shelly,

There are a lot of pictures that you can enlarge from New England Wildflower Society's catalog:

    Hope this helps.
