I had to google to find out. A Squedge is a squared wedge ruler. Regular Wedges make circles, but Squedges make squares. You can also make a 18 degree circle.

That's assuming the pattern was unique and created by said tablerunner maker. Otherwise, copy away

I never have the same colors or fabric in the patterns I would like to make exactly, so I just use my own choice of fabrics and colors. I have so much fabri that I must use it.

If you can, give the original poster credit when you post your picture. I was able to do that for the Sunny Lanes on one side of my 2 sided quilt, but I couldn't find who posted a quilt with appliqued flowers that I liked and then made some similar ones for the other side. I did feel bad about that. It is a compliment to the OP that you want to have a quilt like hers. Once it goes up on a public board, it's open to being duplicated.

i'm going to totally disagree with your statement
9 times out of 10 when i show someone one of my quilts people say...
"wow- i never would have dreamed of putting those fabrics together! and it works so well!!!"
i do not believe i am the only one out there who gets this type of response- so i believe there are many many "new" combinations of fabrics out there---every day!
not that its a bad thing to use the same as someone else if you like what they did- but i think there are tons of 'ORIGINAL' combinations everywhere-
if everyone used the same combinations where would any inspiration come from???

I purchase this ruler on Ebay and I adore it! I just finished making 9 blocks for a lap quilt. As soon as I get the borders on my quilt, I'm going to make the runner that is the free pattern that came with the ruler. Here are my blocks pinned to my design wall. The centers are not finished and just circles I cut from the fabric I will use. But you can get the general idea. I paid 12.95 for my ruler with 2.50 shipping chg. I highly recommend this ruler. Its just fun, and the blocks are easy and fun. Depending on how you view the quilt you can see three different illusions or designs; Friendship stars, pinwheels and lanterns. They are all formed when the blocks are set together. Jan
