Beautiful quilt and story. Thanks for posting, great idea to use up scraps for a baby quilt. It sounds like your quilt was very appreciated and well used.

Thanks for telling us the story behind it. Isn't it good when your work is appreciated and used? My friend made a darling baby quilt for a niece which was used briefly and tossed out. She is "modern" and doesn't like to keep old things lying around. What a heart breaker.

I bet that that quilt was indeed there for the little fella as it was for his other brothers...treasures like that seem to hang around forever...thanks for sharing..
