    My DIL will love this video. She wants to start her own BatCondo. I also feel sorry for the bats. Where will they go now? And I'm very glad this has never happened to my older brother he's a roofer and scared to death of bats and snakes.

    I wish we had some bats in our neighborhood so they could eat some of the insects around here.

    I welcome bats in our area, but don't know if I would want them packed in my roof.

    I hate to say this, but bats can and do carry rabies. My MIL had to have one of her kitties put to sleep because it had come into contact with a rabid bat! I think I'd just rather stay away from bats!

    Bats are wonderful for controlling the insect population. We have 2 large urban colonies in the Austin area of Texas.
