The leaves look like Datura wrightii. Be careful as they are poisonous. Not as in you'll die, but in as you'll have hallucinations. The Indians used to smoke it .

That is a Datura!!!!! In St. Paul in the Macalester Groveland area we have an Alley Garden contest every year. Just to let you know how popular this contest is, I have won an Alley Garden Award flag to show off for the past 21 years. This year my sister gave me some teeny tiny little seeds. Thinking that teeny tiny little seeds would give you a teeny tiny little plant, I planted them near the front of the garden. Au Contraire - they are big honkers!!!! They are gorgeous. The stem feels like a little baby's behind: very soft. It has a faint sweet smell. The only bad thing is that the flower only lasts for one day and not even all that if the weather is hot. They droop like a wet noodle! It is not a plant I would put in my garden again, only because it takes up a lot of room for one plant and also because it is only pretty for a very short time. They belong in an area where you can plant several plants together in a cluster. I have seen that way of planting them a lot. They belong together in a special "Datura Garden." All in all, they are a gorgeous plant, easy to grow ------- in someone else's garden. Edie

Default flower in alley

This is a morning glory in our area we have blue ones and purple ones and white ones that grow wild. They will often reseeded them selves and come up again next year in the same area.

This is a Moon Flower. It will get pods on it. Let them dry out and then plant the seeds. They do well in part shade.
I got a pod last year at a church yard sale. The sweetest like grandma was selling them for 25cents. I planted them this spring and have these beautiful flowers. The blooms don't last long but they are perinials

Also look at the leaf. Its different than a morning glory. and its not a vine like morning glory. Another difference is these bloom later in the evening not morning

It looks very much like a wild Datura plant to me. Have seen these many times when I lived in Arizona.

In our area we call it a Moon flower. Only blooms at night and when sun hits in in morning the flower dies. Bloom smells slightly of vanilla. It is a relative of Jimsom weed. Seed pod is large round sharp spiney with hundreds of seeds inside. The are very pretty and if in the right place will have lots of blooms...I have had as many as 53 blooms on one plant. If winter is mild and root is protected it will come back next year othwise the seeds will sprout.
Enjoy it. Carol
