My vintage blocks - help!

Wow, these are great blocks, I am going to print a picture and put it on my idea board, want to play with different fabrics- I can see it in Asians or CW repros, I would audition different fabrics to see which one works the best. I can see these blocks with black or natural muslin, or as someone suggested, yellow - how about yellow or muslin with black cornerstones, or black with yellow cornerstones- or maybe uneven stars as cornerstones, to add extra 'pow!' ? It will be stunning, no matter what you do with it - thank you for showing us these great blocks, such an easy design with such a spectacular result! Don't forget to show us how it turns out, thanks for sharing.

I think I would try a gray and see what that would look like since it is supposedly the new neutral now. Maybe a light gray for the sashing and a little darker gray or even black for the sashing blocks.

Before seeing your post I said yellow. I agree you should test yellow. I think it will really bring it all togeather.
