Fabric shop question

I agree with Pat625. There is nothing worng with where you buy fabric as long as you know you are getting a good fabric for the price.
You do have to use some discretion in choosing good from bad stuff. Even expensive LQS have bad fabric.

Hi! Yes, I have purchased and used fabric from JoAnn's on multiple occasions. The closest store to me is about 45 minutes away, so I don't make it there as often as I would if I lived closer. But, when I do go I usually come back with more than I intended (I know that NONE of the other quilters out there do that! LOL). I have noticed that there are some fabrics that they carry which are of good quality, others seem very thin. I just go by feel mostly, and try to buy the fabrics with a closer weave. I have made several quilts that I can remember where I specifically used fabric from JoAnn's and they washed and dried well. Hope this helped! :-)
