I couldn"t keep the 4 colors on the rail fence in the right order. I gave it up for the day.

I, personally, have never made a mistake. I never scream at inert fabrics. My froggy ripper is just like new. Every seam is perfect, due to my perfectionistic nature. AND I never lie. By the way, I am very young and very beautiful (anyway, that's what I tell my 80 year old DH and HE believes me!).

It is the back and they usually take care of themselfs. No one knows what size the pieces were supposed to be except you. Tomorrow is another day

I have found, if I start making mistakes, to just Stop. Usually I am wanting to finish and keep going even when I realize I'm tired. I know, been there, done that, and not with just quilting. But it is always best to just stop and get some rest, walk away and go back later when you are fresh.

Sounds like my day I had the other day too, two blocks were up side down, had to take them out and put them back in correctly, they were in the middle of the quilt, I have never had to do this before so was disgusted, I figured at least I am learning. My blocks were perfect and matched and now the two I fixed are off but just a little bit, sigh.

Been there done that. I sewed the binding on three times-ready to trash the whole thing. Put it away and in two days was ready for the challenge. All turned out okay.

Bless your heart! I'm about ready to throw the one I'm working on in the ocean so it can swim with the fishies! I feel your pain! Take a break and don't sweat the small stuff! After all, it's the back and anyone who knows you well enough to sleep under your quilt won't care!

Was the moon in Scorpio---I am pretty careful to check the moon sign when I start something new or am working on a really confusing BOM---and NEVER start something on Friday that I know I won't be able to finish that day. Plus, I have a bunch of messed up kids because of all my rabbits' feet and Buddhas....and even have one granddaughter who will call me to ask if today is a good day to get a haircut.
